This position is ideal for recent graduates (MS or PhD) and are eager to take ownership of experimental design, workflow execution, and timeline-driven deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Execute CHO cell culture processes across shake flasks and spin tube fed-batch formats
  • Perform transfection, selection, single-cell cloning, and clone characterization workflows
  • Support upstream development with high attention to process consistency and data integrity
  • Vector design and molecular biology
  • Run titer and basic downstream quality assays to assess productivity and cell line performance, analytical experience (HPLC) is a plus.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement advanced gene editing technologies in CLD
  • Contribute to workflow design, documentation, and continuous process improvement
  • Maintain a culture of excellence, accountability, and meeting or exceeding timelines

Required Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in:
    • Molecular biology and vector construction
    • Suspension CHO cell culture
    • Transfection & selection workflows
    • Shake flask, spin tube, and deep-well plate fed-batch processes
    • Single-cell cloning
    • Titer determination and standard downstream quality assessments
    • Analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC/MS, and/or CE.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-expectation, fast-moving environment
