Job Description

Schedule: 

  • Rotating schedule of three 12hour shifts per week (Onsite)

  • Shift times may include 7:45 AM–8:15 PM or 7:15 AM–6:45 PM (Saturday & Sunday shifts)

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Position Overview:

This role supports a primary care facility located on the north side of Indianapolis. The office operates seven days a week and requires someone who excels in a fast paced environment and is comfortable navigating evolving and unexpected challenges. The ideal candidate is patient focused, adaptable, and committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality service.

  • Clearly explain processes, procedures, and next steps to patients

  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to address patient needs

  • Follow detailed and stringent clinical and administrative protocols

  • Respond to patient inquiries by phone and email

  • Determine appropriate solutions while adhering to organizational guidelines

  • Coordinate issue resolution with other departments as needed

  • Collect and enter patient demographic and billing information

  • Assist with scheduling and database updates

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required 

  • No experience required (training provided) 

  • Knowledge of medical terminology or medical coding preferred 

  • Ability to type 30+ words per minute 

  • Basic working knowledge of computers and ability to navigate multiple systems
