Job Title:

Book Block Maker

Produce high-quality book blocks while operating production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate book block manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Review production specifications and job requirements.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for quality assurance.
  • Perform machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.
  • Maintain production output while minimizing waste.
  • Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping expectations.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Support team operations and cross-training initiatives.

Requirements

Who You Are:

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Reliable attendance and dependability required.
  • Willingness to work a 10-hour or 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Previous manufacturing or print production experience preferred.
  • Previous bindery or print industry experience.
  • Experience operating automated production equipment.
  • Knowledge of production workflow and quality systems.
  • Forklift or material handling experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation: Based on experience, we also offer shift differentials based on the shift.

Shift Schedule:

Available 10-hr shifts - AM Sunday-Wednesday, PM Wednesday-Saturday

Available 12-hr shifts - AM Thursday-Saturday, PM Sunday - Tuesday
