Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Help maintain and organize financial records and documentation
  • Perform data entry and review invoices for accuracy
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Support audits by gathering requested documentation
  • Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong communication and willingness to learn

Pursuant to New York law, Drive Medical provides a salary range in job advertisements. The pay rate for this role is $19-$20 per hour. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements. The provided salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible according to the company’s policies.
