Compensation for this position will be dirtied based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.

Tasks: 

As for tasks, many of those listed as I mentioned are routine to support new raw materials, new intermediate and finished goods product development, updating existing products, etc.  Answering customer requests for product regulatory information is also a large portion of our overall activities to support our customers.   Currently, we have a high workload of customer requests (as Alison can attest to).  It is very difficult to de-prioritize these routine tasks or shuffle tasks around within the small team to allow time for the larger projects (see below).

Projects: 

Because it will still be some time until all sites and BU’s are on the same ERP platform, our team has taken the initiative (Project Stew) to try and move product formulation/composition information from non-SAP sites into SAP so we can help standardize our tasks.  In the Americas, we have a few sites that are on our list to transition - Westfield and Queretaro, and then Brazil and Colombia most likely.   These projects take collaboration with other departments, IT and our SAP consultant’s assistance.

Since regulations across the world are constantly changing, we must also keep our systems as up to date as possible, so our chemical data, SDS’s and other information we provide to our customers is accurate.  We are currently working on upgrading the SAP S4 Hana platform with the most current 3E regulatory data to help support the next phases of the overall corporate IT projects.  With a limited staff, this upgrade process, including user testing, is difficult to find time for based upon all other tasks and constant re-prioritization of those.
