ABOUT THE ROLE

The packager is responsible for visual and physical inspection along with labelling and packaging of products to assist in the operation of the production lines.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to recognize adherence to quality standards and report all defects to supervisor/lead
  • Must be able to label products before and after packaging as needed
  • Able to setup packaging area for shipment
  • Able to assist in production paperwork as applicable
  • Able to train new employees on production line
  • Maintain a clean and safe production line
  • Perform waste disposal per work instructions
  • Drive forklift as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Required Work Experience:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Must be able to pass physical examination as required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
