Supplies Co-ordinator

Location: Clifton Park TC, York

Full Time: 37.5 weekly hours

Shift Patterns: 10am to 6pm Monday-Friday

The role:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Supplies Co-ordinator to join our team at our Clifton Park TC, based in York.

This is a hands-on role involving regular lifting, frequent movement around the hospital and you will be liaising with all departments within the hospital to provide a well organised service.

We are looking for a someone who will be dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate and has good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of stock deliveries for the hospital

  • Handling all orders

  • Responsible for the control of ordering stock consumables and equipment needed in the hospital

  • Supporting with barcoding, invoices and deliveries

What you will bring:

  • Strong IT skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High attention to detail

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)  

  • Initiative with a flexible and proactive approach to work

  • Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable not essential)

  • SAP experience (desirable not essential)

Where you’ll be based:

Clifton Park Hospital is a modern, purpose-built in-patient hospital located just outside York city centre. Registered with the Care Quality Commission the hospital has 24 beds, including enhanced care, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatients department with x-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy including a small gym area.
