This role is on a 2-2-3 rotation with a 12-hour shift. 

What we are looking for: 

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License 
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documentation, SOPs, and job descriptions 
  • Ability to do fundamental mathematics as it pertains to production, formulations, and efficiencies 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form 
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to follow all safety rules and procedures.

In this role, you would:

  • Operate treating machine(s) that produce furniture and decor papers 
  • Regulate machine speed, flow, volume, and temperature 
  • Stop or reset machine when a malfunction occurs and clear machine jams 
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards  
  • Adjust machine tension, pressure, and machine components according to specifics of product  
  • Inspect and remove defective products as required 
  • Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items as needed 
  • Verify and record product weights or measurements to ensure quality standards 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor 
  • Willing to support and work on other shifts as needed 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment. 
  • Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects. 
  • Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures
