Night Shift

Full-time, 36 hrs/ week

Schedule: 

Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Holiday Rotation: B

7:00pm-7:30am

ICU Department

Definition of Position: 

Provides patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. Communicates with the care team about any changes in patients' clinical conditions. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition. Performs general nursing duties across departments with supervision. Performs complete and accurate documentation of care in the patient’s Electronic Medical Record.

NOTE: various departments may have additional qualifications/certification and responsibilities associated with their specific area. Copies of department specific requirements may be obtained through your HR representative.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice.

Desired: BSN

Experience:

Required: None.

Desired: Previous Clinical Experience.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required. Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty may be preferred.

Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: Infusion pumps, and other medical equipment, computer terminal printer, photocopier, and patient charts.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Ability to provide care for the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being.
