Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant screens patients, obtains pertinent information, and assists physicians or advanced practitioners during visits. They are also responsible for maintaining exam rooms and providing general clinic support.
Qualifications
You have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program or have equivalent experience, and possess a High School diploma or GED. You should have experience in a clinical setting and be proficient in patient screening and assisting physicians during patient visits. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
