What You Will Do
This is a 2nd Shift position working Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 2:30am.
Training will occur on 1st shift for the first 30-45 days of employment. 1st Shift hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm.
Follows all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR’s) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.
Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
Team Player who is willing to support business needs, peers and other departments.
Thoroughly reads and follows all job sheets, production drawings, MAI’s and R&D sample assemblies.
Installs molds and adjusts controls on Mold Machines.
Performs daily inspections on equipment and molding tools as instructed by the Molding Supervisor or designee.
Performs assigned jobs as required by Manufacturing Assembly Instructions.
Performs in-line inspection and testing to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Performs troubleshooting and recommends solutions to simple problems such as short shots, blow outs, flash, etc.
Responsible for the quality of the product produced.
Shipping
Packages finished products in appropriate containers / boxes with adequate packing materials
Creates and prints product labels for products being shipped.
Interfaces regularly with Customer Service, Engineering, Scheduling, Production and Administrative personnel regarding shipments, priorities and logistical issues.
Becomes familiar with Shipping software such as UPS / FedEx.
Packaging
Labeling products with a description of their contents, sealing containers with tape and completing documentation in accordance with BMED and customer requirements.
Performing final inspection and counts of items to ensure that they meet production standards.
Packaging finished goods into bags, boxes or crates and then moving them to the Shipping area for delivery.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) .
The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 – $19.50 hour. A $0.75/hour Night Shift Differential will be paid for all hours worked on Night Shift. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
