Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island.

-Position: Custodian

-Location: Waikiki (Honolulu, HI)

-Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

-Compensation: $18.50/per hour

-Clean common areas: This includes restrooms and both the interior and exterior of the facility.

-Maintain cleanliness: Responsibilities involve sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, use of equipment and wiping down surfaces.

-Trash management: Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.

-Equipment use: Familiarity with pressure washers, leaf blowers, stand-behind machines, trash compactor, baler machine, and ride-on machines is preferred

-Location maintenance duties include:

Cleaning restrooms and storage spaces

Removing trash and replacing liners, ensuring waste is disposed of properly

Restocking supplies

Completing additional tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor

Physical requirements: Candidates should be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting at least 20 pounds.

Pre-employment screening: Candidates must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
