Stanley Consultants is currently looking for an Electrical Student Intern for the Muscatine, IA office.

\nWhat You Will Be Doing:
  • Student will develop an understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems related to for a variety of building and site infrastructure projects.
  • Responsibilities and skills to be developed include:
    • Understanding engineering drawings and specifications, performing and checking engineering calculations, coordinating information with vendors, performing field site visits, back checking drawings, gaining familiarity with computer software, and general clerk duties.
    • You may be responsible for specific design tasks under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
    • Design tasks may include electrical system modeling, lighting and power calculations, electrical lighting and power plans, panelboard and equipment schedules, equipment wiring drawings and schematics, or similar.
    • You will be responsible for working independently on assigned tasks and seeking out experienced engineers for answering questions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in BSEE Degree Program at an ABET accredited University
  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards a BS in Electrical Engineering
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
