Position Summary:
The FP&A Intern supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team in delivering financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical insights. This role provides hands-on experience with core FP&A processes, including budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling, while contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization. The intern will work closely with finance team members and cross-functional partners to analyze business performance and support key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data, updating models, and validating assumptions.
Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods; summarize key findings.
Maintain and update financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing summary reports.
Support month-end financial processes, including data validation and reporting.
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Support process improvements, including data organization and reporting efficiency initiatives.
Collaborate with team members on cross-functional initiatives and process documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
Carries out duties assigned by management as required.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications for Consideration:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to learn and take initiative
Basic financial analysis and critical-thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Physical Requirements:
Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, and talking, hearing and visual activity. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds).
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners. Estimated travel is less than 5%.
