Do you love organization and problem-solving?  Do you like a variety of tasks?  Landmark Hospital is in search of a positive, personable, well-organized Administrative Assistant.  

Summary: The Administrative Assistant at Landmark Hospitals performs a variety of secretarial and clerical duties that support the hospital's operations. This role plays a key role in facilitating communication and workflow with various departments and staff, handling filing, scheduling, and other administrative duties that support hospital operations. This role also provides organizational support for groups, committees, and meetings as delegated. 

In addition to general administrative department support, the Administrative Assistant may also be assigned other departmental support tasks based on hospital needs. These other areas typically supported include Health Information Management (HIM), Human Resources (HR), Quality, and/or other areas as needed/determined by the CEO. The administrative assistant will follow defined processes and procedures when supporting specific departmental areas.

Looking for someone who can work 32 - 40 hours a week.

Essential Functions:

  • Answers phones and dispatches calls correctly,
  • Opens, sorts, and delivers mail.
  • Maintains group calendars.
  • Coordinates interview times between candidates and the hiring manager
  • Supports communication flow and processing of the staffing schedule
  • Makes copies/distributes minutes and agendas.
  • Organizes events as needed.
  • Support physician credentialing
  • Maintains distribution lists.
  • Exhibits professionalism
  • Other duties as determined by CEO.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 1-year administrative support, Hospital-based support experience preferred
  • Excellent Communication (written, verbal, interpersonal)
  • Typing/ Keyboarding/ word processing
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
