Job Description

This position would entail working as a PTA within our PT department while being part of Sport Ortho’s fully integrated musculoskeletal platform, where orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, PA/NPs, physical therapists, and support staff practice together under one roof every single day. Not as separate departments or through referral faxes, but as one unified care team collaborating to provide comprehensive patient care.

About Sport Ortho Physical Therapy

Sport Ortho Physical Therapy is an emerging outpatient physical therapy practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model of Sport Ortho. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to the patient by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists, and Physical Therapy Assistants.

Within the Sport Ortho model, our providers work together daily to provide comprehensive orthopedic care including on site medical imaging, regenerative medicine, manual therapy, sports medicine, and physical therapy services.

Requirements:

  • Currently possess an active Physical Therapy Assistant License in Tennessee
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
  • Positive attitude that is willing to be a part of an integrated Orthopedic Approach

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
