Maintenance Assistant - Resort

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance team in ensuring the resort remains in pristine condition, providing a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of resort facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and outdoor spaces

- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed

- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly

- Support the upkeep of landscaping, pools, and recreational facilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and tools

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance projects efficiently

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in general maintenance or a similar role preferred

- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
