Job Purpose:  Provides quality janitorial service by performing daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, lifting and emptying metal bins. Works under general supervision.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.                              

1.     Performs machine maintenance by lubricating machinery, filling or changing fluids and oils, and cleaning or replacing filters. Schedules appointments for subcontracted machine maintenance. Changes air filters in LMM room. Performs troubleshooting to determine needed repairs or efficiency measure.

2.     Maintains employee safety by testing and replacing fire extinguishers, emergency lights and emergency exit signs.

3.     Orders parts and materials from vendors. 

4.     Becomes familiar with the quality system requirements as they pertain to the department. 

5.     Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Secures tools, materials and equipment at end of day.

Additional Responsibilities as needed.

1.     Provides assistance to coworkers and other departments.

2.     Provides assistance to Maintenance department

11.  Ability to use power tools, such as drill and saw.

13.  Ability to use department equipment such as air tools and die grinders.

14.  Ability to maintain confidentiality.
