Position Title: Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning Graphic Designer (Student Position)   Location: Big Rapids, MI 49307   Department:

Fac Ctr for Teaching & Learning

  Advertised Salary: $14.00 - $14.49     The Student Graphic Designer supports the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) by creating accessible, creative, and engaging visual content such as images for print and the web, infographics, social media graphics, event flyers, etc. The position is open to students with or without Work Study funds.   Position Requirements: Applicants should:
• Be creative
• Have photo editing, page layout, and illustration software skills
• Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent design software
• Be reliable and production-oriented
• Have an understanding of or willingness to learn more about creating accessible and inclusive content
• Be welcoming and collaborative   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The FCTL Student Graphic Designer’s duties will include:
• Creating graphics for social media, newsletters, and event promotions
• Collaborating with FCTL staff to understand project goals and audience
• Maintaining organized file libraries and design assets
• Following brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency
