We are excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity within our expanding Assisted Living services at Seafields by Bishop Gadsden! 

As we open our new Assisted Living neighborhood, we are seeking compassionate, service-driven individuals to join our team.

This role provides efficient administrative support and hands-on resident care while delivering a high-quality, professional, and resident-centered experience. You will play a key role in fostering independence, dignity, and well-being for our residents.

A Typical Day:

  • Provide hands-on resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Support resident independence, dignity, and overall well-being
  • Assist with dining needs, including escorting residents and in-room service
  • Follow care plans and observe/report changes in resident condition
  • Document resident care accurately and timely in the EHR
  • Participate in shift reports, walking rounds, and team communication
  • Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with residents, families, and team members
  • Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols
  • Assist with additional tasks such as laundry, meal support, and responding to resident needs

Requirements

What We Need In A Candidate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification 
  • Must be at least 18 years old and in good physical health
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, service-focused environment
  • Compassion and interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Basic comprehension of numbers and written materials
