We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and building strong relationships.

As the face of our business, you will assist customers with purchases, answer questions, process transactions, support sales efforts, and help maintain a positive and professional store environment.

This position includes both indoor retail counter sales and outdoor yard/warehouse customer assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service
• Greet customers and assist with product selection
• Process cash, credit card, and debit card transactions accurately
• Operate POS system and balance cash drawer
• Handle returns and exchanges
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule deliveries
• Maintain product knowledge and assist customers with questions
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Conduct outreach to existing and potential customers
• Assist customers in the yard and warehouse as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company safety, security, and cash handling procedures
• Use NetSuite and other computer systems as needed
• Support counter sales and daily store operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
• Basic understanding of sales and customer service practices
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates strongly preferred
• Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand and walk throughout shift
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
• Ability to sit and work at a computer when needed

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 40-hour workweek
• Weekend availability required
• Saturday hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Seasonal schedule fluctuations may occur based on business needs
