POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the CTR Program Manager, implements HIV Prevention services. This position performs a wide range of community-based outreach, education, and organizing activities relating to HIV prevention, reproductive health and human sexuality.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provides HIV pre- and post-test counseling services, according to CHN, Federal and State Guidelines.
  2. Facilitates Evidence Based Interventions (EBIs).
  3. Coordinates HIV testing services with clinic staff.
  4. Performs HIV testing.
  5. Documents Progress Notes on Electronic Health Records.
