Orchard Heights Senior Living is looking for a Full Time Culinary Prep Assistant who takes pride in preparing delicious, high-quality meals and creating meaningful dining experiences for our residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in preparing restaurant-quality meals that are both nutritious and beautifully presented
• Support the Chef and Culinary Director with daily meal preparation and service
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients for cooking
• Help cook a variety of foods (baking, roasting, sautéing, steaming, etc.)
• Prepare salads, cold plates, sandwiches, and beverages
• Ensure meals meet special dietary needs and resident preferences
• Plate and garnish meals and desserts with care and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED; Must be at least 18 yrs. of age
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling
• Ability to work with large quantities of food
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Passion for serving seniors and honoring their preferences
