Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a qualified individual currently seeking a college degree with an environmental discipline as a summer intern Project Coordinator.  The ideal candidate should possess strong detail-orientation, demonstrate robust document preparation skills and thrive in fast-paced and dynamic work environment to provide administrative assistance and support to our Environmental Services practice.

Your Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting project teams in maintaining documents and tracking systems, quality control review of documents and deliverables, and maintaining regular communication with team members to ensure that client requirements are met.

  • Monitoring multiple communications (email/ text/ IM/ phone) from team members to track different activities
  • Reviewing documents to ensure that they meet specific client requirements
  • Communication with internal team, subconsultants, and client
  • Updating databases and excel spreadsheets to track program requirements
  • Reviewing subconsultant invoices to ensure accuracy and billing in accordance with project requirements.
  • Engagement in the process and willingness to identify process improvements to provide benefit to our client
  • Complying with all Stantec and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
