Job Description

Position Summary:

The Direct Lending Processor provides exceptional service by maintaining knowledge of all products, services, and organizational policies and procedures. The role performs a variety of services for both internal and external members and lending functions via telephone, email, and internet. Must be able to work before or after hours, Saturdays and Holidays for meetings/training or as workload requires. Must participate in training annually or as required for BSA and the Privacy Act.

Key Responsibilities:
Member Service
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate service to internal and external members.
  • Identify and offer products and services that will improve our member’s financial life.
  • Maintain member confidentiality in all aspects of providing services to membership.
  • Perform member maintenance as required.
  • Communicate in a professionally and efficiently with all departments promoting synergy.
Loan Processing & Documentation
  • Deliver professional and efficient loan services focusing on individual needs.
  • Provide accurate and timely processing of loan applications in accordance with lending policies.
  • Prepare loan documentation and close files electronically.
  • Research and solve post funding issues.
Financial Analysis & Compliance
  • Prepare valuation collateral using the appropriate methods.
  • Calculate income.
  • Review stipulations for authenticity.
Performance & Development
  • Accountable for meeting production and sales goals.
  • Analyze and problem solve.
Organizational Engagement
  • Represent the credit union with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • Represent and uphold the Achieva Brand Frame.
  • Support leadership initiatives that position the credit union as a top employer.
  • (Maintain industry knowledge of Insert) and participate in annual training or as required by BSA and the Privacy Act.
  • Perform other essential functions as needed or assigned.
  • Travel may be required on occasion.
  • Work flexible hours including evenings, Saturdays or holidays as needed to meet member and business demands.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a financial institution.
  • 1-2 years’ sales experience.

  • Intermediate computer skills including with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

This role operated in a hybrid work environment requiring in-office work Monday and Friday with rotating Wednesdays and weekends. This position may require extended periods of sitting or standing and occasional light lifting (up to 25 pounds) may be required.
