Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm, 40hrs/week
Pay: $21.35/ hour
Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency specializing in providing innovative tools, services, and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.
The Transportation Assistant is responsible for monitoring the existing fleet to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of the vehicles, as well as assisting with all maintenance performed on the vehicles.
Essential Functions:
1. File and maintain maintenance records on all vehicles.
2. Distribute and enter data of vehicle monthly inspections, oil changes and 6 month state required inspections for all vehicles.
3. Maintain and assist with records for vehicle sticker purchasing.
4. Review and update all vehicle documents for loaner vehicles.
5. Assist with the insurance claims for accidents.
6. Maintain and distribute gas signature cards as needed.
7. Drive a route when needed.
8. Handle transportation issues when needed.
9. It is the responsibility of the Transportation Assistant to maintain confidentiality with all clients and their families and maintain a professional image/role as a representative of the agency.
10. Adhere to all policies and procedures established for Clearbrook, and those of all governing bodies.
11. Complete mandatory training annually.
12. All other duties as assigned.
QualificationsThe Transportation Assistant must have:
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in transportation and/or vehicle maintenance
Valid IL Driver's License with good driving record (PACE Certifiable)
