Job Overview

Reliant Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated, organized, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mobile Crisis Program Manager Trainee in Petersburg, Virginia. This position is designed for individuals who are interested in developing leadership skills and growing within the behavioral health and crisis response field.

The Program Manager Trainee will work closely with executive leadership, clinical staff, and crisis response teams to gain hands-on experience in the operations and management of Mobile Crisis Response Services throughout Virginia. This role provides training in program operations, staff support, crisis coordination, compliance, scheduling, documentation oversight, and community collaboration.

The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership potential, excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a passion for helping individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health crises.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily operations of the Mobile Crisis Program
  • Learn and support Virginia DBHDS regulations, policies, and compliance standards
  • Support crisis response coordination and staff communication
  • Assist with scheduling and maintaining staff coverage
  • Monitor documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding and training of crisis staff
  • Communicate professionally with hospitals, Community Services Boards (CSBs), law enforcement agencies, and referral sources
  • Support incident reporting and follow-up procedures
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Assist leadership with administrative and operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • Relevant behavioral health or leadership experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements
  • Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, case management, human services, or community-based services preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations
  • Basic computer proficiency and documentation skills required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to pass:
    • Criminal Background Check
    • Child Protective Services Check
    • Drug Screening
    • DMV Driving Record Check
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Must complete all required state and company trainings
  • Flexible availability may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
