Shift Options
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay
- 1st Shift: $14.00/hr
- 2nd Shift: $14.25/hr
- 3rd Shift: $14.25/hr
Job SummaryLapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking dependable, hands-on individuals to join our team as Injection Molding Operators on all shifts. If you are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.No experience needed — full training provided.In this role, you will operate and monitor injection molding machines that produce high-quality plastic automotive components. You will help ensure consistent part quality, perform basic inspections, and support production flow throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove parts from the conveyor belt or machine.
- Perform visual quality inspections and report defects.
- Clip or trim excess plastic from molded parts.
- Pack completed parts into containers accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while following 5S and safety standards.
- Record hourly production and scrap on worksheets.
Position Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs. for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance, especially during the 60-day probation period.
- Willing to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills for work instructions and labels.
