Job Description

We're looking for the next wave of curious and passionate individuals to join our new internship program.

Shared Context Lab is a consumer AI company with the mission of bringing personal life agents to the next billion people.

About the position

Our goal is to give you a real sense of working at an AI-forward startup in the consumer space.

You’ll work on real product surfaces, infrastructure, and AI agents that will power the next 1M user experiences. You will not be sitting in the corner fixing tiny bugs. You’ll work side by side with the founders and technical staff, to ship products and apply technical expertise - we care deeply about design, UX, and human-centered thinking.

At Shared Context, we continually think about the kinds of technologies & experiences we need to build, in order to achieve our vision of making personal agents actually useful & interesting.

You’ll spend the bulk of your internship working closely with the founders. Your day-to-day might look like:

  • Work directly with the founding team on scoped engineering projects across product, infrastructure, and internal tools

  • Build and polish product features that support real users

  • Prototype new AI-powered experiences that reimagine human-computer interaction

  • Support frontend and backend work across website APIs, integrations, agents, background jobs, and internal systems

  • Use agentic coding and product development tools to move quickly and learn faster

  • Ship, get feedback, iterate, and build strong product engineering instincts

About You

If you have a curious mind and a passion for solving interesting problems, we have a feeling you’ll fit right in. You should be:

  • A student or recent graduate with a computer science degree (or self-taught ability to code)

  • A builder/tinkerer at heart - tell us about something cool, whether through internships, side projects, school projects, hackathons, open source, or your own experiments

  • Eager to ask questions, admit mistakes, and learn new things

  • Interest in LLMs, agents, personal AI, memory systems, and human-computer interaction

  • Strong product instincts and genuine care for design, UX, and craft

Bonus points

  • You’ve built your own agent, chatbot, automation, AI app, or personal tool

  • You’ve shipped something used by real people

  • You have a strong eye for interaction design and frontend polish

  • You like working fast, learning fast, and being close to the product

If you want to be early, close to the work, and hands-on in building something people truly love, we’d love to talk.

This is a paid, in-person internship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
