Job Description

Kaiser Aluminum Chandler Arizona is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operator to join our team in a fast-paced aluminum manufacturing facility.  Production Operators are responsible for performing various tasks to support the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of the factory.  The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have a willingness to learn.

Hourly pay rate: $19.33

Twelve (12) hour shifts 6AM to 6PM or 6PM to 6AM

Two days on, two days off, three days on and three days off   

What will you work on:

  • Assist in the assembly line process, ensuring all products are accurately assembled and meet quality standards.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment, as needed.
  • Fabricate and assemble parts, components, and tools, following specific instructions and guidelines.
  • Operate in a warehouse environment, handling raw materials and finished goods with care and efficiency.
  • Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and forklifts to perform tasks, such as cutting, drilling, and lifting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and company policies. 
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the factory.
Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to learn and operate various equipment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Experience with assembly line processes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation and basic mechanical skills.
  • Assembly line experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to fabricate and assemble parts and tools.
  • Experience working in a factory or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations.
