We are seeking an experienced, hospitality minded Compounding Pharmacy Technician who wants to grow with our team. All Pharmacy Technicians are cross-trained in both Data Entry and our Compounding Lab to ensure a well-rounded understanding of pharmacy operations and to support team collaboration.
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Handle inbound and outbound patient calls regarding prescription updates, refills, and general inquiries
Accurately enter and process prescription orders using pharmacy-specific software
Assist patients in person, providing exceptional customer service and support at pickup
Prepare and package medications for shipment in accordance with pharmacy and regulatory standards
Prepare compounded medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
Fill and dispense commercial (non-compounded) medications
Manage inventory, including monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab and all pharmacy work areas
Restock medications and supplies throughout the pharmacy
Proactively assist with administrative and operational tasks to support the overall efficiency and success of the pharmacy
Qualifications Summary:
Active Texas (TSBP) Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
