Perform high-quality CT procedures according to established protocols to diagnose disease and injury. Maintain equipment, ensure patient safety, and manage medical imaging records under the supervision of a Radiologist.
Qualifications
You have a graduation from an accredited program and possess certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N), or are a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). You are also licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) and hold BLS certification or will obtain it within 30 days of hire.

The CT Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, performs CT procedures on patients. A physician or licensed provider requests these procedures to diagnose disease and injury. The technologist follows established protocols.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT).
Must also be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N). Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT) is also accepted.
