Infant Lead Teacher – The Learning Experience Milford

Location: The Learning Experience – Milford, MA
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About the Position

The Learning Experience – Milford is hiring a compassionate and attentive Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our infant classroom is designed to provide a calm, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment where babies feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with infants and understands the importance of responsive care, consistency, and early developmental support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, attentive care to infants in a safe and structured classroom setting.

  • Support early development through sensory play, music, language exposure, and age-appropriate activities.

  • Maintain daily routines including bottle feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized care plans.

  • Communicate regularly with families regarding daily activities, milestones, and progress.

  • Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Massachusetts EEC health and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to deliver high-quality infant care.

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts Infant Teacher certification required.

  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or daycare setting.

  • Strong understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices.

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

  • Reliable, patient, and passionate about early childhood education.
