Background: 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment to facilitate 

the movement of materials and products within our facility. This role requires a strong focus on 

safety, efficiency, and accuracy in order fulfillment. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial part in 

maintaining the flow of operations while adhering to OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, including Hi-Lo to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting and load/unload shipments as required.
• Utilize pallet jacks for transporting goods within the warehouse/production floor.
• Conduct order picking and ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Assists with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED.
• Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy loads consistently throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of relevant technical practices, warehousing practices and materials/goods.
• Overtime, Weekends as needed
• Forklift driving: 1 year (Required)
