Job Description

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business, is looking for a Speech Therapist to join our staff at Fargo Elim, in Fargo, ND. Whether you are just starting out or looking to take the next step, Fargo Elim is a place where your work is valued and your future supported. We’re looking for a licensed SLP to join our team. 

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Wage Range: $38 - $60 / hour depending on experience.

Location: 3534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND, 58104

Speech Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
  • Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
  • Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
  • Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams: Work with doctors, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
Speech Therapist Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess a current accredited ND Speech Therapist License.
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations.
  • Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
