UC Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) for the Med Surg 7 Northwest unit for the Night  Shift at UC Medical Center.

The Med Surg Nurse will support the Medical Centers medicine and Level 1 Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. This 28 bed unit has ratios ranging from 4 to 6 patients per nurse. Patients may have Internal Medicine diseases, Congestive Heart Failure, Renal disease, Respiratory illnesses, etc.

• Most patients are admitted from Emergency department and other transfers from Step Down/ICU units. There is also some cardiac and respiratory monitoring (telemetry).
