  • Follow service manuals, work instructions, safety procedures, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Document service activity, findings, repairs, parts used, and next steps accurately.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, internal teams, and service leadership.
  • Travel as needed to support customer sites, including overnight travel.
  • Maintain a professional field presence and protect Quest’s reputation for quality service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Must have reliable transportation and own vehicle available for work use.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Ability to complete required Human Performance Test.
  • Comfortable with a full-time, temp-to-hire employment structure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical equipment, industrial equipment, diagnostic equipment, or technical field service.
  • Experience with optical products.
  • Experience using tools such as a vacuum/pressure meter, frequency counter, and digital multimeter.
  • Command line or PowerShell familiarity.
  • Experience supporting OEM equipment.
  • Experience working in regulated, quality-controlled, ISO, healthcare, or customer-site environments.
  • Strong documentation habits.
  • Military technical training or hands-on technical trade experience.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Electro-mechanical repair.
  • Wiring harness and connector troubleshooting.
