Located in Commerce City, Colorado, Capstone Academy is apart of the National Heritage Academies network of schools. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess English Language Learner student abilities and provide academic intervention to scholars who are eligible for language support services in either 1:1 or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and academic intervention team.

  • Commit to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.

  • Attend professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required.


Qualifications:
Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.

  • Bilingual skills, preferred.

  • Previous experience working with English as a second language students or with school-aged children, preferred.

  • Ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.

  • Aptitude to understand and navigate technical systems.

$18.75 to $18.75 will be the pay range and is commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA. The pay range listed is just one component of NHA's total compensation package.
