Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Contracts Intern, you will work closely with the Contracts Team to support the administration, review, and management of government contracts. You will gain valuable insights into the lifecycle of contracts, compliance requirements, and the unique challenges of working in the GovCon industry. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in contract management, legal studies, or government procurement. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and organization and tracking of contract documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements, and Subcontract Agreements. 
  • Support the Contracts Team in ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records in the company’s contract management system. 
  • Conduct research on government contracting regulations, policies, and best practices. 
  • Assist in drafting and editing contract modifications, amendments, and correspondence. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance and program management teams, to ensure contract requirements are met. 
  • Participate in contract closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables and obligations are fulfilled. 
  • Provide administrative support to the Contracts Team, including preparing reports and organizing files. 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. 
  • Strong interest in government contracting, compliance, or legal studies. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or government contracting principles is a plus but not required.

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $20.00 - $20.00
