Job Description

  • Greet patients and visitors with a customer service mindset
  • Register patients in the practice management system.
  • Confirm all appropriate paperwork and demographic information is correct.
  • Collect identification and insurance cards, copayments, patient balances and have an understanding of medical insurance.
  • Schedule and create appointments for patients. This includes over the phone, in person and at check-out.
  • Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls, redirect calls, check voicemails and answer messages.
  • Receive packages to distribute, mail letters, make copies, send or receive medical records, send or receive referrals
  • Answer incoming calls and provide patients with excellent customer service at all times.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk reception area.

  • Work well in fast paced environments, can multi-task, and are calm under pressure.
  • Efficient, organized, disciplined, and able to complete tasks.
  • Attention to details, can use critical thinking skills, & have a knack for problem solving.
  • Strong communication & listening skills.
  • Work well in a team, and aren’t afraid to ask for help.
  • Take ownership and use good judgment.
  • You have a desire for meaningful work.

Job Type:

  • Full-time: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
  • Pay rate starts at $20/hr

Education:

  • High School or Beyond
