The IT Technician role is designed to keep LOGAN systems running optimally by providing support to the IT service desk, deploying workstations, and updating systems.

Requirements

Essential Functions

  • Manage tier 1 and 2 support tickets and escalate as needed.
  • Educate end users on the solution while completing their support ticket.
  • Deploy new computers, iPads, and Phones.
  • Repair and replace computer hardware components.
  • Setup new iPads and iPhones, laptops, and desktops.
  • Create new user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and other applications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Provide support to IT projects.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the health and safety of persons served.
  • Expected to serve as role model for persons served.
  • Expected to serve as an advocate and to protect the human rights of persons served.
  • Expected to participate in training as required by your supervisor or for all LOGAN staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 1-year experience in help desk preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Windows 11, iPads, and general support issues. 
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and tactfully, with all levels of employees. 
  • Must have a broad, overall view of the LOGAN mission and be able to translate that mission into stated IT Technician objectives.

Fulfilling the responsibilities of this job may result in contact with body fluids. LOGAN will provide training and offer Hepatitis B vaccination at no cost to the employee.
