Qualifications
You have an Associate of Nursing (ASN) or a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) and current Indiana RN license. You possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ideally have experience in general orthopedic skills, wound care, IV therapy, and pre-operative/post-operative care for ortho/neuro/spine patients.

Ortho / Neuro Unit: This newly remodeled 25 private bed unit is committed to providing the highest quality, compassionate care to total joint; general orthopedics; spine and neurosurgery patients. We are a highly engaged team, with a dedicated orthopedic coordinator that collaborates with orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and we take a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
Nursing skills gained on this unit:
General Orthopedic skills: dressing changes, post operative ambulation, brace application, ect.
Wound vac care, IV therapy and medications
Pre-op and Post-op care for ortho/neuro/spine patients
