Drug and Alcohol Counselor

Langhorne, PA | Full-Time | $50,000-$72,000 annually (based on licensure and professional experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couple, and family counseling to clients with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.

  • Offer crisis intervention and case management, connecting clients to vital community resources.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, community partners, and other service providers to ensure holistic care.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical expertise and cultural competence.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related human services/health field.

  • Licensed or unlicensed clinicians welcome (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC).

  • Experience or internship in counseling, preferably with clients facing substance use challenges.

  • Strong skills in crisis intervention, writing, communication, and culturally responsive care.

  • Commitment to ethical practice and respect for client autonomy.
