Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Worker is responsible for producing manufactured products at the expected level of quality and rate of output by adhering to proper work standards, procedures, and policies.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and process control policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Operate all machines and equipment required to produce, package, and ship all products manufactured on-site both manually and through PLCs.
  • Drive lift trucks and other powered equipment used in material handling.
  • Work safely and report any unsafe conditions to the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
  • Generate and maintain files for all required logs and reports.
  • Report any defective materials or questionable raw materials to Production Supervisor. 
  • Complete any job requested by the Production Supervisor or member of management, including those not specifically contained in this description.
  •     Demonstrate willingness and availability to work any/all shifts as required.
  • Demonstrate willingness and availability to work voluntary or mandatory overtime if required.
  • Wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.
  • Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • One to three years related experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment, preferred.
