Position Summary

Seeking an exceptional Human Resources professional to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for management of the day-to-day operations of the human resources function across ACS’ 70+ employees & consultants across three global offices.  This role will also have the opportunity to develop new policies and procedures and make their mark on the culture of a growing firm. 

This position reports to the Director – HR & Talent Management  

Key Responsibilities

HR Generalist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll process, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits
  • Coordinate and manage recruiting efforts globally
  • Manage sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files
  • Respond to and put through various queries from managers and employees, and from other agencies or departments
  • Coordinate staff training events or programs and recommend resources, as needed
  • Stay current on organizational issues and initiatives affecting the Human Resources function
  • Administer and monitor new hire orientation programs
  • Assist with the annual employee performance appraisal process
  • Update, develop and maintain HR Policies and Procedures
  • Assist our Legal Team with ad hoc administrative duties
  • Provide backup to office administration functions as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SHRM/PHR certification is a plus
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator verbally as well as through writing skills
  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
  • Ability to multi-task and meet high expectations
