Classification Minimum Requirements:

To be eligible for a Federal Work Study Student Assistant position, applicants must be admitted to the University of Florida as degree-seeking students, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled at least half-time during the term of employment. Students must also qualify for the Federal Work Study Program for the applicable term. Proof of a Federal Work Study award for the term of employment is required.

Job Description:

The College of Medicine Office of Research is seeking a Federal Work Study Student Assistant for up to 20 hours per work week to provide essential analytical support in maintaining the quality and timeliness of data deliverables.

About This Role:

  • Generate standardized reports using pre-established templates and dashboards
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking departmental metrics and performance indicators
  • Assist with data entry and validation for rankings databases and financial tracking systems
  • Prepare visual materials (charts, graphs, tables) for presentations using existing data
  • Provide administrative support for quarterly reporting cycles
Expected Salary:

$15.00 per hour

Required Qualifications:

To be eligible for a Federal Work Study Student Assistant position, applicants must be admitted to the University of Florida as degree-seeking students, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled at least half-time during the term of employment. Students must also qualify for the Federal Work Study Program for the applicable semester. Proof of a Federal Work Study Award for the semester of employment is required.
