About the Role

Provide project financial support to the assigned Project Financial Analyst, to ensure project financials are properly monitored and managed in pursuit of maximizing project profitability and cash flow.

What You’ll Do Here

• Act as support to the primary internal financial point of contact for assigned sponsor(s) and associated projects.

• Load project budgets to financial management systems.  Review / reconcile loaded project budgets to ensure accuracy against contracted values.

• Load payment schedule to financial management systems.  Review / reconcile loaded project payment schedule to ensure accuracy against contracted values and compliance to negotiated contract terms.

• Load revenue schedule to financial management systems.  Review / reconcile loaded project revenue schedule to ensure accuracy against budget / contracted values and compliance to negotiated contract terms.

• Support the project level WIP/Deferred revenue reconciliations as required.

• Complete and maintain project check-off list for close out activities. 

• Complete project close-out procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Working towards bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

• Strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated critical thinking, initiative and good judgement as well as constructive problem solving.

• Ability to set and manage multiple priorities and work in an organized manner.

• Successful approach to managing multiple stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Professional demeanor, including the ability to demonstrate the upmost discretion pertaining to employee information.

• Proven ability to work as part of a team in a very fast paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
