About the Software Engineer Coordinator Position:

During the internship as a Software Engineer Coordinator at Avalon Healthcare Solutions, you will support various projects and initiatives while gaining valuable industry experience. You will work closely with the Software Engineer team members, contribute to day-to-day operations, and be given opportunities to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. 

This position is eligible for remote work, but quarterly travel will be required to Avalon's corporate office located in Tampa, Florida.

Key Responsibilities for this Internship Opportunity:

• Software development with both Java and React
• Participate in SCRUM lifecycle including all relevant meetings
• Asist with management of deployed application on AWS
• Assist with daily operations and administrative tasks
• Conduct research and compile reports
• Support project planning and execution
• Collaborate with team members on various assignments
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Provide general support to the department as needed

Qualifications for this Internship Opportunity:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (or a recent graduate)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
