Summary of Position:

This position provides legal and administrative support to attorneys under general supervision, including coordinating with court clerks, communicating with consumers, and preparing judgments and post-judgment documents. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Proofread and edit legal documents and other written materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize technical resources and information to prepare Judgments and post Judgment documents 
  • Correspond with various court personnel, local counsel, and adversary attorneys. 
  • Greet and assist consumers making in-office payments towards outstanding balances.
  • Interact with consumers who come to the office to pay balances in person.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by attorney(s). 
  • Responsible for performing administrative tasks related to the lawsuit process, including document preparation, filing, and tracking deadlines. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional services setting. 
  • Basic understanding of litigation legal process preferred. 
  • Minimum of an associate’s degree from an accredited college preferred. 
  • Proven ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to analyze, problem solve, and multi-task. 
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
