Join a mission-driven team where you create meaningful experiences that enhance the quality of life for residents. As an Activity Coordinator, you’ll design and lead engaging programs that promote dignity, independence, and social connection in a warm, home-like environment.

Position Summary:
Plans and facilitates individualized and group activities based on resident interests, strengths, and needs. Builds meaningful relationships through engagement, supports cognitive and physical well-being, and contributes to a positive community atmosphere.

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Primarily daytime hours with occasional evenings/weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead engaging recreational and therapeutic activities
  • Provide meaningful one-on-one resident interaction and support
  • Adapt programs for varying cognitive and physical abilities, including dementia care
  • Plan monthly activity calendars, newsletters, and special events
  • Coordinate outings, transportation, and community engagement activities
  • Maintain activity supplies, records, and program spaces
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident well-being
  • Foster a welcoming, positive, and engaging environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with seniors preferred
  • Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused mindset
  • Willingness to complete ongoing training and development

Physical Requirements:

  • Light physical activity including standing, walking, and bending
  • Occasional lifting up to 10–20 lbs
  • Ability to assist with activities and outings
